Job Description:Position summary
T-Mobile USA is a leading provider of digital GSM/GPRS, UMTS, and LTE wireless voice and data technology standards. Senior Engineers, Software located in Bellevue, WA will lead moderately complex projects and work under the guidance of a Software Development Manager on complex projects.Responsibilities:Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop scripting languages per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results.
Contribute to and work to meet project schedules by providing accurate estimates of effort required for development deliverables, providing updates on project progress to development and project management, and escalating issues that might affect project success to management.
Provide on call support, as required, for production releases.
Collaborate/partner with other teams including Enterprise Testing, Release Planning and Management, Business Systems Analysis, Project Management, Data Analytics, and Application Support on successful delivery of systems enhancements.
Develop production release documentation as required by the application support teams for acceptance of systems changes into production.Minimum Qualifications:Skill requirements:
Developing Business Intelligence Extract-Transform-Load applications using tools and scripting, including Unix Shell Scripting, BTEQ Scripting, Oracle SQL Scripting, and Informatica Power Center, to enable business users from Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to perform business driven analysis.
Utilizing SQL and TD utilities, including Teradata Load Utilities, to implement applications on Teradata.
Performing application development on multiple projects impacting multiple business units including Finance, Supply Chain, or Marketing, and working with multiple business applications systems providing tier 3 production support.
Coordinating with a team of developers to conduct ETL development performance tuning with high-volume data.
Reviewing HP Quality Center defects and collaborating across enterprise-wide functional and technical teams to determine the technical path forward for next development steps with data architects and program solution owners.
Coding in a DevOps environment within a SCRUM framework to deliver Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery automations for market growth.Experience and education requirements:PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Information Systems and Management, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology and Communications Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience.ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Management, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology and Communications Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.Additional:
