Site Supervisor - Primary Care (Yuba City)
The Site Supervisor oversees all functions of assigned sites. This position ensures that providers have an appropriate level of qualified staff; assists in the development of operational and capital budgets; makes recommendations, implements, and ensures compliance with nursing and business support services policies; monitors supply orders for appropriateness; coordinates nursing continuing education program; ensures clinical areas adhere to quality assurance guidelines. In addition, the Site Supervisor that represents the Brownsville Family Practice Center (Rural Health Clinic) administrator (Clinical Services Director) to ensure the proper administration and management of the clinic. MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:Bachelor's degree in a health or business-related field or the equivalent experience in a health care position of responsibility is required. Current CPR certificate required. Certified Professional Collector Trainer (CPCT) preferred for Urgent Care. Experience: A minimum of two years managerial or supervisory experience is required. Clinical licensure and experience in a hospital or outpatient area is preferred. Knowledge: Knowledge of management, nursing theories and clinical receptionist duties to supervise the operations of the Urgent Care and Occupational Health departments; knowledge of principles of employee development to train, delegate, and mentor staff; ability to evaluate existing standards and effectively implement new procedures; knowledge of financial principals to assist in development of annual budgets; skill in reacting calmly to emergency situations; ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and direct the work of others. S Skills:Skill in operating a computer, copier, and telephone console, identifying problems and recommending solutions. Ability to make moderately complex mathematical computations, work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making, work effectively as team member, establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.
