The Senior Digital Imaging Analyst provides a high level of technical expertise in the service and maintenance of the most complex digital Imaging equipment including CT, MRI, Nuclear Cameras, and Digital Cath Lab systems. The incumbent performs PM inspections, calibrations and repairs, and serves as a consultant in site planning, purchasing and installation of equipment systems. The incumbent acts as a training and on-going technical support resource to other imaging support staff.
Associate Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience required.
Approximately seven or more years of experience in the support of the most complex digital imaging equipment with demonstrably superior skills in all of the following areas: Radiographic Systems, Mammographic Systems, Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems, Radiography/Tomography Systems, Computer Assisted Tomography Systems, Radiographic/Fluoroscopic Systems, Magnetic Resonance Systems, Nuclear Cameras, and Bureau of Radiological Health and Certification procedures.
Demonstrated skills in the use of diagnostic software in the support of complex digital imaging systems.
Human Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, and regulatory requirements including the Joint Commission, Title 22 and CAP. AAMI certification or CRES Certification for Imaging Technicians is highly desirable. Incumbent must maintain a current California driver’s license. Incumbent must maintain a driving record that is acceptable to the underwriter providing corporate automobile insurance coverage. C
Effective communication skills are required.
Incumbent must be able to physically lift and carry packages weighing seventy (70) pounds from ground level to a waist high cart and/or transport packages weighing one hundred fifty (150) pounds with the aid of a hand truck or cart. Must be able to test/repair equipment with audible indicators.
