The Physical Therapist is directly responsible for the initiation and performance of Physical Therapy evaluations and treatments. Responsible for physical therapy initial evaluations, patient care, documentation, physical therapy assistant and aide supervision and miscellaneous non-patient care requirements. Serving the greater Stanislaus County with 423 plus acute care beds, Memorial Medical Center provides a full continuum of care including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, dialysis therapy, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, physical therapy, and home health. Specialized care includes Memorial Regional Cancer Center and Memorial Heart Institute.
Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy, with Certificate, BS, MS, or DPT degree.
Current license by the State of California as Physical Therapist.
Possesses current BCLS provider card.
Demonstrated computer literacy.
Ability to read, write, hear and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform the job.
Physical requirements: ability to be able to perform physical job requirements, essential functions of the job, frequency and weights as recorded in the job task analysis (post-offer, pre-placement test).
Must be able to travel in accordance with any requirements of your job (if MMC and/or own vehicle used on MMC business, must possess valid California Driver’s License and upon request proof of liability insurance).
