Office Manager and Client Service Specialist


Fall River Employee Benefits is looking for a full-time, caring, extremely detail-oriented, and ideally math/numbers/Excel loving Office Manager and Client Service Specialist to become an integral part of our team.

What we’ll expect from you:

What you will be doing:

  • Handling all office management duties by ensuring everyone has what they need to work effectively (e.g. stocking the kitchen with everyones' favorite snacks, ordering all needed office supplies, managing repairs, coordinating with our outsourced IT provider, etc.)
  • Preparing financial analyses of coverage options, handling employee level issues from our clients (e.g. claims, etc.), reviewing clients' employee applications for completeness and accuracy before submitting to carriers, providing basic compliance support related to employer sponsored health & welfare plans (COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Administrative duties (opening mail, paying bills, scheduling meetings, ordering lunch, updating contacts, etc.)
  • Developing mutually beneficial relationships with insurance carriers and administrators to generate optimal results for clients
  • Preparing written correspondence, reports, and calculations and analyses as needed to support Fall River Account Executives and their clients, among other administrative duties
  • Assisting in preparation for benefit open enrollment and other employee education meetings (proofreading PowerPoint presentations, cross-referencing documentation, etc.)
  • Creating employee and employer-facing communication materials for our clients
  • Assisting in building our database of prospective clients through research, email contacts, and screening calls
  • Monitoring commission payments from carriers and following up on discrepancies
  • Participating in relevant industry training to gain knowledge on an ongoing basis
  • Developing and maintaining an extensive knowledge of insurance carriers and their plans and rules
  • Occasional event planning (e.g. client appreciation lunches, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two year's experience in a similar role (administrative, customer service, etc.) that required great attention to detail
  • Authorization to work in the US
