As the Marketing Manager for OptumCare Network of Connecticut (OCNCT), you will set the marketing direction, lead problem resolution, provide guidance to market leadership, and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges. Your role will also influence and/or provide input to forecasting and planning activities.
Broadly, this position is responsible for developing and executing integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting Medicare enrollees for Medicare Advantage, as well as dual-eligibles (Medicare & Medicaid), in partnership with the OptumCare national marketing team and local market leadership. Acquisition, retention and member engagement campaigns will all be essential for continued network growth and stability. This position will work closely with Corporate to ensure activities and materials comply with CMS regulations and UnitedHealth Group standards.
Assist in training the Network Liaisons to support brokers and health plan reps during open enrollment and educating provider offices about Medicare Advantage
Creation of materials for providers to promote the network and educate patients on the benefits of OCNCT
Involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership growth, as well as strategies and tactical plans to support consumer / member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures
May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program / project budgets
7 years of professional full time experience in a matrix environment
5 years of direct-to-consumer marketing experience
5 years’ experience in deadline-driven marketing role
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
5 years’ experience managing multiple priorities and cross functional interactions with teams including but not limited to graphic design, copywriting, compliance, and the like
5 years’ experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables and presenting on these deliverables to leadership
5 years’ experience in meeting or exceeding sales promotion / marketing targets
Health care experience, specifically Medicare
