Manager of Field Training and Quality, T-Mobile H+E

Job Description:T-Mobile's Home and Entertainment division is looking for a Manager of Training and Quality to create and deliver a curriculum to our in-home field team. This curriculum will be for both onboarding new employees and providing ongoing updates and reminders for tenured technicians. The training team measures it's success in its ability to make existing expectations easy to understand and remember. The proper candidate for this position will be able to develop strong relationships within both the Central Operations and Field Operations teams in order to recognize how to present the formula for success to our most crucial employees.
  • Translating existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) into a fun and informative lesson format
  • Creating a schedule to introduce/reinforce lessons to tenured front-line employees
  • Combining lessons into a long-form curriculum meant to train all the expectations of the Field Team
  • Presenting long-form curriculum to Director-level stakeholders for feedback and approval
  • Teaching your approved long-form curriculum as an onboarding training to new-hire technicians
  • Working with requests from the Project Management team to develop lessons that will prepare tenured technicians for new or improved products, tools, and processes
  • Identifying how each lesson is meant to help our technicians be more efficient, and any performance metrics that can measure that success
  • Reviewing ongoing changes in performance metrics to identify potential lesson updates
  • Ability to communicate effectively with front-line technicians, executives, and anyone in between (written and verbal)
  • Ability to translate Standard Operating Procedure into a fun and informative format
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Experience creating and teaching an ongoing lesson plan
  • Experience with still and video photography (a plus)
  • Experience using modern media tools such as Final Cut, Adobe Premier, or Pinnacle (a plus)
