The Executive Assistant for our physicians will provide direct executive-level independent administrative support to two physicians. The Executive Assistant will be required to effectively manage all administrative needs of their patients. The Executive Assistant will perform all duties with the utmost professionalism and discretion. Adheres to all Practice confidentiality standards, both patient and business related, at all times.

 

  • Provide senior-level administrative support.
  • Coordinate patient schedules and provide for seamless patient care and follow-up
  • Act as key liaison with other clinical and other staff to ensure projects are completed.
  • Create and send out correspondence on behalf of the physicians
  • Manage the calendars for the physicians to ensure optimal and efficient use of time and available resources.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Courteously greet patients, visitors and other clients. 
  • Identify deficiencies and make recommendations for policies to correct those deficiencies
  • Work on special projects, as assigned from time to time.

 

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 2-3 years of related experience in a large, complex medical office or as senior-level administrative assistant.  Excellent organizational, interpersonal and writing and verbal communications skills are required.  Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment, ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks and able to work a flexible schedule is required.  Proven ability to coordinate and complete multiple projects.  Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and electronic medical record software is required.
